Frank Z*a*p*p*a Complete US Singles

From 2017 -
When I recently stumbled onto a cache of Zappa singles, I figured it was time for a [yet another] new compilation of his work. So here the deal - it's all (with two exceptions) all of Zappa US singles from 1966 to his passing, all in the exact 45 versions/takes/edits. I was unable to locate the original single edit of #24, Montana is the 2013 version, which IS the single version but 20 seconds longer. The collection is peppered with a few foreign singles too, where I thought it improved the pacing.

These are all @320, mostly needle drops losslessly converted and each tagged with the original label/cover.

For whatever reason I'm always drawn to the single mixes of any artist. After months/years of looking I finally bit the bullet and put together my own Dylan UK singles/ep's collection which was recently shared on Twilight Zone. I'm no great fan of Zappa but the Mothers singles look interesting. Thanks for sharing and for the work involved.

I like the single mixes, too. That's the way I heard it on the radio.

Suh-wheet! Some nice new-to-my-ears stuff. Zappa was the greatest (and prolific-est)! How nice that there is something "new" like this - this would be a fine way to introduce someone to FZ...thanks so much. Glad that you're back!
