So I'm back for those who were around nearly a decade ago. AYBCS is now a permanent home for my compilations our old friend Willard would sometimes post over at Wormholes. But "W" got out of the boat a couple years ago and most of my posting has been for friends on a small private forum. Over the next few weeks/months I'll dredge up some of the stuff I created over the past 6 years or so.
Stay posted!

The seeds of the future are nourished from the roots of our past.
It may not be Shangri La...or Kubla Khan...but, it is where we will always return to if given the opportunity. Besides, I already told the top brass at Rhino to quit bothering you about work! They can't use someone who archives the way you do. To fill in all the 'blanks' is more liability than any corporate entity would risk. So, it follows that Rhinos don't swing! And, if you want to know the future of music, then you will need to know the past. BlankFrank is his name and if there is to be a history fit for destiny that will be worth HEARING...it will probably be BlankFrank telling it. Truth can be such a cheap thing...so, why not get it here, free? Life is a gift...BlankFrank proves it.
If you are trying to enjoy music and know its history then you are in the right place.
To BlankFrank, I will say the same thing I always say...
are we paying you too much???
Beautiful job, Sire!
What the heck...it's only work.

Great to see you back! I've missed this blog a lot.
OMG.... I was just listening to Mike Nesmith's Magnetic South, with which I first became acquainted nearly a decade ago thanks to this blog. Which led me to do a quick google search and now here I am. Just thinking about how much I had missed this blog and also Willard's since he shut it down. I was a frequent commenter during the last couple of years of the original AYBCS and was sorry when it shut down. I joined the forum that spawned form the wreckage but it got out of control fast and I bailed. It is VERY exciting to see you back and I even see some familiar names in the comments. Welcome back!
I was on your private blog, mostly great folks. Good seeing yah again.

Hi, the Roxy Music link for discs 3 & 4 comes up as a Small Faces link.
Can this be fixed?
@Lon Ches, now corrected and thanks for pointing it out
Thanks BlankFrank. Appreciate it.
Hi BF,
Were you going to re-up the Tom Petty singles collection or is it gone forever?
Thanks BF for the Tom Petty re-up.
Could we get a re-up of the Bowie 52 Years compilation? I missed out on your edit, and I'd love to have it. I'm a huge fan of Willard's original version. Cheers!
