Elvis Costello - Forty-Five: The Singles & EPs 1977-2010

A long time ago on these pages or similar, I posted EC's Singles 1-2-3 with the bonus tracks separated into a fourth folder. Here's an update to that attempt to correct my mistakes from that old post, omissions from the Singles 1-2-3 box sets and expand it to Elvis' most recent singles/EPs with new material. My criteria is to include all of his unique songs released on 7/10/12" vinyl, CD 3s/CD5s or digital download. To ensure that set is listenable, 12-inch remixes, most live bonus tracks or song duplications were left off. One of these days, I'll make a companion that includes these plus film soundtracks, tributes, and collaborations.

As usual, each is tagged with original cover/labels and made to be played as one long playlist. She's 10 hours, 182 tracks and about 1.4 gigs. And she's got her share of hard-to-find goodies here!

I have a tough time thinking of anyone who has consistently put out such great material for so many years seemingly so effortlessly. Because he has been around for so long, I believe he's been consistently overlooked and under-rated.
